Born in the United States and raised in Sweden, Maya stepped into the spotlight early, making her professional acting debut at the prestigious Uppsala Stadsteatern at just 15 years old. She continued to work steadily as an actress throughout her teenage years, honing her craft and cultivating a deep appreciation for powerful storytelling.

History

Driven by ambition and a vision for a larger creative future, Maya moved to New York City to study at the renowned Lee Strasberg Film & Theatre Institute. There, her passion for filmmaking first sparked by the trailblazing work of Shonda Rhimes reignited with full force. Inspired by Rhimes’ fearless storytelling and Taylor Sheridan’s bold narratives, Maya began carving her own path as a filmmaker and entrepreneur.

Misson

Determined to bring fresh, character-driven stories to life, Maya founded her own storytelling company. Her debut project, Moneybay, which she wrote and produced, went on to win Best Film in both Sweden and New Zealand a testament to her global vision and creative voice. Maya has also appeared in a range of national and international commercial campaigns, continuing to build a career that blends performance, production, and purpose.
